Appearance: She's bald, with yellowish green eyes that are almost catlike in shape with dark smudges under her eyes. She appears to be around age 15, and very pale, like she hasn’t seen the light of day for years. She has almost a permanent black and blue spot on the back of her head along with a long scar running down the middle of her back starting from the black and blue spot and ending about the mid calf of her right leg. She also has other various scars on her torso and along her arms, all normally hidden by her cloths.

Occupation: librarian assistant

Shinigami Clothing: just an ordinary Shinigami outfit with her zanpakuto on her right hip, being left handed when Main personality is dominant and right handed when Yasei is dominant, much to the distress of Yasei.

Gigai Clothing: Katsu prefers a mud brown long skirt, a bright orange shirt and a deep purple vest.
Yasei prefers a tight short sleeved shirt of any color and jeans, but rarely changes out of Katsu's chosen cloths for Katsu's sake.

Created Soul: Their mod soul’s name is Shimi. It’s very formal and courteous; with a blank look on her face most of the time, and a dead pan voice. It often stops to read everything it can, occasionally making it forget what it was doing last when it spaces out while doing so, as it’s a bit of an airhead. Prefers when Katsu uses it, instead of Yasei, as Katsu is a lot more gentle than Yasei, and can tell w/o looking as to which is currently dominant

Zanpakuto's Name: Tentou Adauchi (heaven vengeance)

Sealed State Appearance: regular katana, though slightly longer than most, with a circular guard with a yin-yang design.

Shikai Appearance: It's a staff like weapon. The staff itself is truly a spear held in Yasei's hands but to Katsu it’s a shield generating staff. The spear/staff looks as if someone took two long pieces of steel and twisted them around in a circular pattern. At the end the circling grip budges out slightly and turns into a bladed tip till it reaches its endpoint were the two blade tips separate making it almost a fork like spear. The other end is thinned out near the end still twisting but bulging out to hold an orb the twisting grip stopping just before connecting to each other leave a small gap where the orb can clearly be seen.
Shikai Abilities: Though it’s a lightning spear in Yasei's hands. Katsu is the only one of the two personalities that can release her zanpakuto but Yasei is able to use it after she has released it. He never knows if she will have released it before he has to come out. While in Katsu's hands she uses it as a staff and shield the orb inside being condensed spiritual energy which can escape the holding of the staff and become a shield (similar to Orihime’s)The staff acts like a handle to the staff. The orb is controlled by her reiatsu; Katsu never uses the spear for its elemental attunement to electricity. It loses power depending on how hard its hit, taking additional amounts of reiatsu to keep it together. The shield generated is her true ability as it’s not offensive fitting her personality very well. It protrudes about 1 foot out form the staff’s middle point and stretches out in a 5ft Diameter from one side to the other able to cover the most part of a person’s body. The shield itself is only as powerful as the reiatsu that’s being released on command but isn’t unbreakable. Yasei simply uses the staff as its true offense a long spear. He can use a lighting based attack by channeling reiatsu through it.

Shikai Attacks: (Only used by Yasei.)
Tentou No Bachi (Curse/Retribution of Heaven/Lightning): He thrusts the head of the spear directly above him like a lightning rod. Bolts of lighting are called down upon it, supercharging it for a short time (5 sec max, or it discharges at himself). He can then release the charge either through thrusting into a foe (if close enough), release it in one massive long ranged bolt (directed by where he’s pointing the tip of the spear), or release it in an arc of lighting (directed by the swing of the spear). He cannot move other than pivot to change direction of the blast and swinging the spear while it’s charged or risk having it discharge at him.

Known Kidou: when Katsu is dominant: has all of the binding spells memorized but can only use number 1 and 9. (Binding spell 1: Restrain-Locks a target's arms in place behind their back. binding spell 9: Strike-Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them.) As well as minor variations on each, such as using the binding spell one on legs or using number 9 on multiple targets, though doing either drains her considerably. She can only use one kidou of the destructive spells, number 1. Destructive spell 1: Thrust-pushes target away from the caster. Often over does this kidou, much to her dismay, which is one of the reasons why she has memorized, but refuses to use and master, any of the higher level destructive spells.

Strengths: when Katsu is dominant: photographic memory, vast amounts of Reiatsu (similar to the amount Kenpachi has at full power), can use a few Kidou's very well
when Yasei is dominant: formidable skill with swords and spears, agility, and combat reflexes. He has heightened battles senses as well. His ability to fight is one of the few reasons Katsu is still alive. A former weapons master, he’s forgotten much, but still remembers bits and pieces of his old skills.

when Katsu is dominant: is clumsy and unlucky. She can’t use any of the offensive or defensive kidou’s save those listed. She's very clumsy often to her and her allies’ detriment and at the most in-opportune times. Katsu is very weak vs. melee type attacks.
When Yasei is dominant: only able to use a small fraction of Katsu's reiatsu. He can’t use Kidou and is very weak vs. Kidou type attacks. Also tires out faster than Katsu, generally due to her having injured their shared body already.

Likes: Kastu: talking to her zanpakuto and Zearotsu, reading books, and taking long walks
Yasei: fighting/anything combat related, especially stronger opponents, well crafted weapons, and drinking w/Zearotsu

Dislikes: Kastu: fighting, the amount of reiatsu she has as it can get in the way of her ability to stay out of sight and help others, not being able to help Zearotsu properly in combat.
Yasei: the fact that it’s awkward for him to draw their zanpakuto. Fighting weak opponents. Being bored. Running out of sake.

Personality: she has split personalities. Her main personality, Katsu, is a nervous and shy bookworm. She constantly talks to her zanpakuto when not reading or enjoying some quiet scenery. She tries very hard to hide her massive reiatsu but often loses control if she's desperate or trying to hold back on a binding kidou which can overdue and cause the spell to fail.. Trips often on her zanpakuto's long sheath as well as her own two feet. Regards Zearotsu as her brother and is the only person she's willing to fight to the death for at the moment. She often wishes that she could be more useful to him in combat and often regrets her inability to be more helpful to him.

Her other personality, Yasei, is generally wild and aggressive. Although he does have an odd code of loyalty and honor that he sticks to. He loves a good fight and is very fond of his drink. He wishes he had access to the full amount of reiatsu and kidou that Katsu has. He always looks forward to seeing Zearotsu, as he's normally the one he sees his personality becomes dominant, hoping that seeing his friend means that Zearotsu found a good fight for him to join in.

Lifelong Dream: Katsu: to be brave and be able to be acquit herself properly in battle.
Yasei: to attain Bankai and be able to die gloriously in battle against a formidable opponent.

History: born and raised in some of the rougher parts of the Rukongai. Her best and only friend other than her Zanpakuto is Zearotsu, of whom she's known for years and is the only person aside from her teachers who know about Yasei. She's in the 4th division currently and has been doing her best to help Zearotsu whenever she gets a chance. When Katsu was alive she was always spiritually aware but this would be her downfall as one day she had found herself in the middle or a battle between a shinigami and some unknown enemy. The enemy had launched a large blast at the shinigami but a man, Yasei, was in the direct path as the shinigami deflected the blast. In an attempt to save him Katsu jumped out trying to push him out of the way but would only get herself and Yasei killed in the blast. The blast had been so great that when they died their souls fused only Katsu's body remaining after the battle the shinigami sent her to the soul society not knowing that Katsu had become, in fact, two souls trapped within one body. While living in the Rukongai she came across Zearotsu who had resided there for some time and became close friends each helping the other survive. One day though the two were assaulted by some others in the Rukongai. Zearotsu was thrown aside which caused Katsu to concentrate her Reitsu and Blow the attackers away with a kidou like spelled fired without an incantation. This event scared her for life and she refused to use destructive kidou's promising herself not to kill anyone again. During her Academy years she could not keep up with the sword training but tried kidou and was elite in her incantations and aim. This would gain the attention of the Kido Corps. Though she would come across a hollow during the event were Zearotsu could not protect her she began to panic and fallen back slamming the back of her head into a wall. Seconds later Yasei awoke for the first time in a long time. Having subconscious heard and seen most of the dealings she had done he quickly grabbed his blade and struck out at the hollow with a beastly rage. As the teacher and Zearotsu arrived from the yell of Katsu moments earlier they encountered Yasei. After a rather abrupt fight and a long sit down with Yasei Zearotsu explained everything he had known about Katsu including how they both died in the living realm having known the shinigami who had sent them to the soul society as a drinking buddy. Yasei would fall back asleep after a short while and Katsu would return always claiming to have just fainted only her teacher and Zearotsu know the truth. Katsu is in a permanent denial about having a split personality, Yasei asking anyone sometimes forcefully to not tell Katsu about what had happen to tell her "you fainted" instead.

Extra: Katsu only reverts to Yasei if she becomes unconscious from her fainting from fright.
Yasei reverts back to Katsu when he passes out from drinking too much, sees an ally he knows needs Katsu's Reitsu (spiritual pressure)more than his fighting prowess, when he's too exhausted, or when he gets bored.
If either is knocked out, the other personality becomes the dominant when they wake up, with noted exceptions.
Yasei knows of Katsu and half of everything she does, as he’s half sleep most of the time while she’s dominant.
Katsu doesn't know about Yasei yet as she’s completely asleep normally when he’s dominant.
